Juclas are the market leaders in floation systems for the process of clarification and stablisation of grape musts and juices. With the benefit of over 20 years experience, Juclas is able to offer flotation in either a batch or continuous process. Installations in Geelong, Mildura, Griffith and the Barossa Valley have clearly demonstrated the efficiency of this process.

Juclas Continuous Flotation
Juclas are the market leaders in floation systems for the process of clarification and stablisation of grape musts and juices. With the benefit of over 20 years experience, Juclas is able to offer flotation in either a batch or continuous process. Installations in Geelong, Mildura, Griffith and the Barossa Valley have clearly demonstrated the efficiency of this process.
JUICE TRAY TO INOCULATION IN LESS THAN 4 HOURS!!
Juclas Continuous Flotation System can handle 50,000L per hour. Fining with bentonite, carbon, milk, PVPP, gelatine, silica sol or any other agent can be achieved in a single step with clarification.
Juclas Batch Flotation
Flotation is a separation technique that, like settling and racking, exploits the difference in mass between the liquid and the solids to be separated. With settling the solid has a mass that is higher than liquid, but with flotation the opposite is the case, which makes the solid quickly rise to the top. The situation is caused by dissolved gas, usually either compressed air or nitrogen, coming out of solution and adhering to the surface of the solid, making the 'solid-liquid whole' lighter than the mediem from which it separates itself via flotation
Utilising your existing tank farm, the Juclas batch flotation system has a capacity of up to a 30,000L batch per hour. Ideal flotation vessels are as large a diameter as possible and allow smooth transition of juice entering into the bottom cone of the tank
The batch system consists of two main components. The first is the programmable dosing system for up to three simultaneous addition of any of the
The second component performs pressurisation and gas injection, with a baffled pressure vessel and pump flow rate to allow optimum dissolution of gas and contact time for fining agents
Juclas Easyfloat
Speed white juice processing with single digit NTU clarification and fining achieved in a fraction of the time of cold settling, and at temperatures that allow rapid onset of ferment after inoculation
Juclas Easyfloat is available in capacities of 30,000 and 50,000 L/h, and includes peristaltic dosing pumps for fining agents. Utilising your existing tank farm, the Juclas batch flotation system will float up to a 40,000L batch. Ideal flotation vessels are as large a diameter as possible and allow smooth transition of juice entering into the bottom cone of the tank
